As we all know that music is a platform of expressing your feelings as well as your thoughts about certain things that go through your mind, using beats and different instruments. Some artist prefer going with the accapella flow, but at the end in music we need to hear your story.
The most important part of your journey in this musical industry is always telling us what is your song about are you writing about something that hurts you or something you are happy about and can’t hold it you prefer writing it as lyrics and record it so it could be a song.
Some people have different reasons why they do music and I’m more specific about the Hip Hop genre because Fresh Pack Music is all about Hip Hop. So Let get into the Topic ‘Are Hip Hop artists still doing music with passion’. Let us be honest if an artist started doing music or choosing the music career that must have been an easy decision because these days people are easily inspired by their role models, for example an individual artist can see his/her favourite musician do their thing on the social media platforms and be excited about the work done by the guru and they could be inspired and decide to do music and there’s nothing wrong with that because you were inspired.
Here’s the question did you started music with love and passion ? Some artists could answer this question perfect with no hesitation but some would need couple of minutes to deeply think about this question. I guess those who take time to think about it were not doing music for the right reasons. That why we get so many artists who come with one hit and disappear. With this topic we not here to judge or criticize. We here to build more quality musicians specificly the Hip Hop industy.
Some of our greatest musicians locally and international were seen their own talent was discovered they didn’t know they could rap or sing. Some didn’t believe in themselves but there’s nothing amazing like knowing from an early age that you talented in something and believe in yourself.
Back in the days Hip Hop was not popping like it does today being recognised was the hardest thing ever even if you were talented getting radio airplays wasn’t easy to all the legends we praise in nowadays. Musicians had the hardest job, but it wasn’t hard for them because the music was done with Love and passion.
Even if they didn’t get paid, or receive royalties from sales and radio airplay, It wasn’t an issue for them because they loved the music.
Just briefly summerize why I came up and wrote about this topic. Music is not a joke alot of unhealthy things for your spirit can happen in short period of time.
Being a musicians is not all about recording and putting your music out there alot of things are needed to be done.
